Ross Sheppard is proud to host our yearly Junior High Feeder Volleyball Tournament for our local, catchment Junior High Schools in Edmonton. It is a wonderful opportunity for the players, coaches and parents of the schools to experience playing at our beautiful facility and get a chance to interact with our current athletes at the school.
November 1 & 2, 2024
There will be two pools of 5 teams. Each team will play a round robin within their pool (4 matches). Teams finishing 3rd/4th/5th will play the team of the same ranking from the other pool for their final match. The 1st place team from pool A will play the 2nd place team from pool B (and visa versa), with the winners playing in a gold medal match and the losers playing in a bronze medal match.
Round robin play will be two-set matches, rally point scoring to 25, with a cap at 27. Matches are determined by total points for/against. The playoff matches will be best-of-3 with the third game to 15, with a cap of 17.
All games will take place in the South and North gyms at the school.
