Ross Sheppard is proud to host our yearly Junior High Feeder Basketball Tournament for our local, catchment Junior High Schools in Edmonton. It is a wonderful opportunity for the players, coaches and parents of the schools to experience playing at our beautiful facility and get a chance to interact with our current athletes at the school.
Dates
February 5-7, 2025 at Ross Sheppard High School located on 13546 111 Ave NW.
The tournament consists of a 8 team, Oregon Draw guaranteeing each team 3 games of play for both senior boys and girls teams.
All games will take place in the South and North gyms at Ross Sheppard.
-The tournament is an Oregon Draw, 3 games guaranteed.
Home teams will wear white or light coloured uniforms.
Home teams are onthe bottom bracket of the draw.
Teams are asked to provide their own warm-up balls for the tournament.
Each game will consist of four, 9-minute quarters, stop time.
3 minute halftime. 1 minute between quarters.
There will be a 3 minute overtime, if necessary.
One 45 second time out per quarter. Timeouts do not carry over if they are not used.
Ross Sheppard High School will host a coaches and officials’ hospitality room for the duration of the tournament. We appreciate the efforts and time of the coaches' and officials that attend. We hope you get a chance to socialize with your colleagues and the coaches from various schools.
The following are awarded for teams that take part in the Junior High Feeder Basketball Tournament:

Medals for first, second & third place teams.
