ICAP is an individual career academic plan. The term ICAP refers to both a process that helps students engage in academic and career development activities and a product that is maintained for students’ academic, career and personal advancement.

Recent legislation—HB 3278 (Graduation Act of 2024), mandates that students have six credits that relate to their goals after high school, whether that is through college or a career. This information is gathered through the ICAP process, via a Career Cluster Finder Survey and will be on each student's profile in PowerSchool for future scheduling.
ICAP is a student-driven process that actively engages and encourages students over the course of their high school journey. It allows students, along with the people that know them best, like teachers, counselors, families and their learning coaches, to:

- Understand their own interests, strengths, values and learning styles
- Create a customized vision for their future
- Develop individual goals
- Prepare a personal plan for achieving their vision and goals
To access the ICAP platform, you can access it through the students Clever account. The Naviance icon is near the bottom and looks like a north star. Contact your CCA to set up a meeting to work through the program.

What is the due date for completion of ICAP activities each year?
Students will have quarterly activities that should be completed by the end of each quarter. Dates for Academic Year 2025-2026 are to be followed.

Teachers can follow progress on the students academic records tab under student performance metrics in Powerschool.
