Epic Collegiate Academy (ECA)

Angie—ECA

Epic Collegiate Academy is a dual credit to degree program. ECA is a pathway of concurrent enrollment courses that is structured to allow eligible high school students to earn a college degree alongside their high school diploma or, if they prefer, at least one year of college (the Plus One path).

Students accepted to the ECA or Plus One program will have no out of pocket expenses for TEL courses as their learning fund will be applied to the program and Epic will cover the remaining cost associated with the program.

Who Can Apply?

9th Grade Students

Incoming 9th grade students can now start the ECA program the first semester of their Freshman year!

This allows for course sequencing to be spread out over all four years of high school; therefore, making each semester's college load lighter than previous sequencing.

10th Grade Students

Incoming 10th grade students can start the ECA program the first semester of their Sophomore year!

This allows students to complete an Associates degree by graduation with a combination of regular school year + summer college classes.

11th Grade Students

The Plus One Program is different than the associate's degree, but it is available to you. Please schedule an appointment with Angie Lee if you are wanting to pursue the associate's degree.

Current 8th grade students wishing to apply: Applications for the spring 2024 semester will open on March 2, 2024.

What core curriculum will I be using for my high school classes?

Upon ECA completion, what is the degree earned?

Associate of Science Degree from Oklahoma Christian University.

Am I required to take the religious studies class listed?

Yes, OC requires Bible courses in all of their degrees, so any student pursuing the associate's degree through this pathway will have to complete the Bible courses.
