Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
The linear actuator will be tested next week to determine whether or not it is capable of fulfilling our design needs.
The final design of the machine will most likely not feature a webbing system due to the lack of time left in the quarter.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
The T-slots required to fabricate the frame of the machine have been ordered.
The redesigned horns are currently being fabricated.
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Testing of linear actuator concept (all members).
Finish proof of concept presentation (all members).
Decide on parts to order for final design and make final purchases (all members).

Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
A meeting with our instructor, Dr. Ghazinejad and our TA, Rishabh Khanna was held on 4/30/2020 via Zoom. The comments were:
Complete a cycle analysis to determine the fatigue that our final design will experience. This will enable us to determine how often parts need to be replaced.
Consider using aluminum as the final material for the redesigned horns and plate because of its thermal conductivity capabilities and the ease with which it can be machined.
The aluminum can also be heat treated to fit the needs of our design.
