Risk Reduction Strategy

List areas of risk and strategy that will be used to eliminate risk really in the design process.

• Highest risk: vasculature that is accurate in dimensions, texture, and feedback when cutting.

• For our risk reduction, several materials were purchased, tested and compared for the following categories:

  • Biomaterials

  • Bioengineered materials

  • Industrial off-the-shelf materials

  • Hollywood/special effects materials

  • 3D printing

  • Previous medical solutions or simulations

  • Food industry
