Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Design: We are finalizing designs for all major components, which include the rectangular anechoic chamber, the gantry system, and the liquid cooling system
Fabrication
Rectangular anechoic chamber: We have begun fabricating parts for the anechoic chamber. We expect to begin assembling by the Wednesday of Week 8.
Gantry system: We have fabricated and assembled the gantry system, and we have begun testing the gantry system.
Liquid cooling system: We have begun fabricating parts for the Liquid cooling system.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Han Cui: Began fabricating parts for the rectangular anechoic chamber.
Jiahao Fu: Fabricated and tested the gantry system. Modified belt tension problem.
Yingqiao Jiang: Finished coding and testing the cooling system. Designed mounting for the cooler.
Yue Wen: Fabricated and tested the gantry system. Updated another edition of the design based on the testing result.
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Han Cui: Continue fabricating parts for the rectangular anechoic chamber and begin assembling by the Wednesday of Week 8.
Jiahao Fu: Solve the belt tension problem. Test the gantry system with RAMPS 1.6 and Marlin firmware.
Yingqiao Jiang: Consult with sponsor to set a trigger temperature for the cooler. Help manufacture and assemble the chamber.
Yue Wen: Redesign the belt clamp to make it easier to adjust the tension. Code for the position control based on the Marlin firmware.

We could add some hysteresis on the cooling system so that it can run robustly under different conditions.
If we want access for the website from the groups of previous years, we can ask the professor for permission.

Risks and Areas of Concern
Timing belt: We found out that the gantry system cannot run smoothly during the testing because the timing belts are skipping tooth.
