Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
We are planning to present a preliminary design to the sponsor during our regular meeting on Friday.
We began drawing CAD for the overall design of the test chamber.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Decided to use the Soyo bipolar stepper motor (#1208 (SY35ST28-0504A) and the A4899 stepper motor controller.
Found the CPU cooler with the temperature monitoring function per sponsor's requirement
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Han Cui: Finalize the microwave absorber layout and ask the sponsor to secure them
Jiahao Fu: Look into the timing belt mechanism for gantry router system
Yingqiao Jiang: Contact the sponsor and Prof. Denish who made the transmitting antenna to make sure the CPU cooler will fit, and make the purchase if they have consented; study coding the cooler's fan based on the temperature.
Yue Wen: Make purchases on the motor and micro-controller and work on controlling the motor with an Arduino.

Risks and Areas of Concern
Although the sponsor mentioned that he can secure the microwave absorbers for us from his contact in the industry during previous meetings, if something happened and we have to order them from suppliers ourselves, the lead time is 5-8 weeks, which will prevent us from completing the project.
