Sponsor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Moved weekly meetings to Monday. Meeting was not held this week as Monday was a holiday. Last meeting was on 1/12.
Mr. Wolfson let us know that a colleague of his purchased a developer's kit from Pozyx and that we should be able to get access to it should we need it. He let us know that the kit would arrive on 1/16.
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
We met with the instructors on 1/11. Instructors were concerned about the price point of the Pozyx system and urged us to talk to our sponsor again on the issue of price.
Comments from Other Students in the Class (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Aryo informed us that we should look into ROS (Robot Operating System) instead of trying to design everything from the ground up.
Choosing a long-lasting battery may not be entirely necessary, seeing as the robot will return to a charging station when not in use.
Risks and Areas of Concern
The team should make getting familiar with the Pozyx system a priority as it is an integral part of the project.
Lack of programming experience might be a limiting factor.

Schedule
Upcoming milestones:
Create a 2D-simulation of an obstacle avoiding robot in Python.
Interface Pozyx with Raspberry Pi
Make purchasing decisions on the drivetrain motor and battery.
Gantt Chart updated
Budget (list amount spent and amount remaining)
No money was spent by the team directly. We may have to pay for the Pozyx system down the line though.
Progress on Report and Webpage
Progress on the report should be made by 1/19
