Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Humidifying chamber has arrived and will be integrated/tested with ASAP
Testing for quantifying/characterizing the product continues through June 8th.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Concentration efficiency (through volume transfer) tested for. However, even after adjusting baffle designs (hole, no hole, etc), droplet sizes remain so small, that size and capillary action prevent spherical shapes from being visible on glucose testing strip.
Relative concentration (tested at different distances) can be observed through color change.
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Characterize the testing environment using humidifying sensor
Present product during Sponsor Presentation (June 7th)
Finalize Updates for the product in regards to the following mediums:
Final Report due by June 9th (including future recommendations for design and product iteration)
Final Poster due by June 9th
Final Website due June 9th
Sponsor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Our sponsor was happy to see progress regarding visible color changes validating the functionality of our product using the glucose strips.
He recommended certain testing methods/procedures to further isolate and account for multiple variables that may affect the evaporation of the droplets with regards to the humidifying chamber.
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Comments focused mainly on the placement and content of information on the final presentation poster board.
General tips include:
Avoid too much clutter: keep things simple!
Keep in mind the natural flow that humans follow when viewing a poster
Incorporate acknowledgments section and remove/edit the overview to remove the image (not necessary)

Risks and Areas of Concern
At this point, time is our main concern as testing is slow-going and we are struggling to define our product with as much numerical data as possible.
As we near the end, we are concerned with whether we can deliver a product that functions the way we intended.
