Training activities
on aviation safety
SPI-S-04During 2022, about 57% of the training courses attended by ENAC staff covered the organization's strategic area of safety. The two major projects in terms of number of participants were:
Dangerous Goods and Radioactive Materials aimed at professionals who completed an in-depth training program and airport inspectors who were introduced to the subject
ECCAIRS 2 an EASA-required course for professionals and managers on european regulation for reporting, analyzing and monitoring civil aviation events.
Furthermore, 13 employees were selected to qualify as Ramp Inspectors after completing the relevant training course.
Comparing the number of training courses over the past three years, a difference emerges from the 2020-2021 biennium, where almost all courses were designed and implemented through online learning. In 2022, the resumption of in-person activities resulted in a smaller number of activities, still in line with the training trend of the pre-Covid years.Â
