Appearance & Behavior
Appearance/Conduct/Behavior:
All students are expected to wear appropriate clothing which is neat and clean. Examples of inappropriate apparel include:
clothing that display slogans that refer to alcoholic beverages, profanity, or sex
clothing is too revealing such as crop tops, short shorts, low-cut blouses or dresses, and dropped armpit shirts/tanks
Students who have been deemed to be wearing inappropriate clothing by three or more adults will be asked to change or be asked to wear something from the lost and found items if changing is not an option.
Hats and hoods are not to be worn during the school day unless specified by designated dress-up days
Students are required to behave appropriately while attending school or school functions. Flagrant violation of proper respect will be considered grounds for suspension from school. Each situation will be judged on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration the circumstances and the age of the pupil or pupils involved.
PROFANITY WILL NOT BE TOLERATED:
Immediate discipline, including but not limited to reprimand; detention; additional coursework; ineligibility for co-curricular events; in-school suspension; suspension; or expulsion, will be implemented by administrative personnel if the use of profane utterances are directly heard by administrative personnel or reported to administrative personnel by any school employee.
Vandalism:
The school will not permit any type of destruction to its property or that of other students. Repeated minor acts or severe acts of vandalism shall be grounds for suspension. Students will also be expected to make restitution to the damaged party.
The administration reserves the right to take action concerning any disputed dress and/or conduct.
