My dearest Year 5's

What an incredible journey this year has been! From the very first day, each of you brought something special into our classroom—your laughter, your questions, your kindness, and your determination. You are not just a class; you are a team, a family, and one of the most extraordinary groups I’ve ever had the privilege of teaching.

All of you have made a huge impact on me, and I want you to know just how much that means. You’ve filled our days with joy, curiosity, and unforgettable moments. Whether we were learning something new, supporting one another, or sharing a good laugh, you’ve made every day brighter and more meaningful.

This class will always have a special place in my heart. You are unique, talented, and capable of achieving amazing things. I will really miss you, but I know you’re ready to shine in all that lies ahead.

Our Morning Socialisations☀️

Our mornings in Year 5-5 were filled with smiles, stories, and meaningful connections. We learned about gratitude, practiced saying kind words, and started each day with positivity and purpose. These moments helped us build strong friendships and reminded us how powerful kindness and community can be.

Better Together: Our Year of Teamwork

This year, we discovered that teamwork truly makes the dream work! From crafting paper airplanes to explore air resistance, to writing our own fables and learning the importance of morals, we’ve supported each other every step of the way. We built digestive system diagrams using recyclable materials, dissected real plants to study their parts, and even brought science to life by experimenting with gases through balloons and exciting chemical reactions. Together, we acted out skits to solve conflicts and practiced listening, sharing, and growing as a team. Every project reminded us that learning is even more powerful—and fun—when we do it together!

Memories on the Move 📸

This year, we explored, played, and learned in exciting new places! From role-playing careers at Kidzania, to relaxing at MIA Park, and enjoying the thrills of Quest, our field trips were full of fun, laughter, and unforgettable moments together.

Book Week 📚

Book Week brought stories to life in Year 5-5! We dressed up as our favorite characters, shared our love for reading, and celebrated the magic of books. One of the highlights was buddy reading with the Year 2s, where we shared stories and smiles, showing that reading is even more special when shared with others. It was a week full of imagination, connection, and joy!
