Message from  Ms Mayuri

To My Wonderful Year 5-1 Class of 2024/2025

As this chapter of our journey together comes to a close, I want you to know how deeply I will miss each and every one of you. Being your teacher this year has been one of the greatest joys of my life, and I will always be cheering you on from near or far, no matter where your paths may lead.

We’ve shared laughter and learning, faced challenges and celebrated victories. Through the ups and downs, smiles and frowns, we’ve grown stronger, as students, as individuals, and as a family. You have learned so much, but what you may not realize is how much I’ve learned from you. Your resilience, creativity, and kindness have truly inspired me.

Remember, when life feels uncertain and doubts creep in, always believe in yourselves. Never give up, because dreams do come true when you keep trying. As I always say: “Mistakes are proof that you are trying, so try, try, try and try again,because even small progress is still better than no progress.” This was our famous class quote and I hope that you will keep this in your heart!

You are capable of amazing things. Always believe in the power of your dreams and in your ability to achieve them. I hope you carry our memories, and these words,with you always.

We thoroughly enjoy Chromebook time but what we love the most about our class is the flexible seating throughout the day...YES, we do have a desk and a chair to use, but we have a choice of how we would like to sit because we believe that we learn well when we are happy and comfortable...

I am especially proud of our class for practicing so hard for their assembly and doing their performance in the best way possible... Many of you stepped in for others and you were amazing!

The Art Exhibition visit and Mr Lewis reading to our class for book week

We brought in milk and cookies to share with the Year 2's while we read to them. It was a fun and thrilling experience because we pretended to be Teachers.
