Book Week was a fantastic celebration of reading and imagination! Year 3-6 students dressed up as their favourite book characters, filling the school with colour and creativity. A special highlight was reading to the KG students — a lovely moment of sharing stories and inspiring younger readers.
From Trash to Treasure!
Year 3-6 became eco-heroes as they explored the exciting world of reducing, reusing, and recycling! To wrap up the unit, students put their creativity to the test by transforming old, unwanted items into brand-new, imaginative creations.
Year 3-6 proudly celebrated Qatar National Day by dressing in traditional clothes or the maroon and white colours of the flag. The day was filled with joy, pride, and appreciation for Qatari culture.
Free Flow Fun Between 3-1 and 3-6!
Students from classes 3-1 and 3-6 enjoyed a special Free Flow session where they explored math through choice and independence. With a variety of engaging activities on offer, they moved between rooms, challenged themselves, collaborated with peers, and discovered just how fun and creative math can be!
Year 3 students celebrated Garangao in style! Dressed in beautiful traditional clothes, they embraced the spirit of the occasion by sharing goody bags, singing songs, and enjoying the festive atmosphere together.
Year 3 had an exciting Sports Day full of fun and energy! Students wore their house color shirts and enjoyed playing different sports games. One of the best parts was the inflatables on the field, where everyone had a great time jumping, running, and laughing together.
Year 3 -6 celebrated International Day with pride and excitement! Students came dressed in the traditional clothes of their countries and brought delicious food to share. It was a wonderful way to learn about different cultures and enjoy a day of diversity, friendship and fun.
To wrap up our Our Wild World unit, Year 3 students created their own nonfiction booklets all about their favourite animals. To make the day even more special, they came to school dressed as their chosen animal! It was a fun and creative way to show off everything they had learned.
Year 3-6 students had an exciting hands-on experience in the Makerspace! Using creativity and teamwork, they designed and built impressive 3D models of the lungs and brain. The project helped them deepen their understanding of the human body while bringing science to life through innovation and fun.
The Overall CLA Award recognized two outstanding Year 3-6 students who consistently demonstrated our core values in and out of the classroom. Congratulations to Youssef and Malika for being chosen for their positive attitude, strong work ethic and kindness toward others!
Year 3 students had a fantastic time on their field trip to Al Khor Zoo! They enjoyed exploring the different animal habitats, learning fun facts about wildlife, and observing animals up close.
