Year started at Emanuel: 2007 ATAR: 98.05
Emanuel School allows me to experience a sense of community - enjoying myself with my friends while I learn.
Matt feels that he has been able to apply the leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills that he has developed at School to all aspects of his life and that being nominated as a Madrich has helped equip him for the future. Matt is a dedicated student who applies himself to his studies and he thanks his teachers for marking his many drafts!
Machaneh Ayekah and Chavayah were highlights of High School for Matt, particularly since they provided opportunities to bond with his Year Group rather than only focusing on school work. As a basketball enthusiast, he would like to be remembered for helping to improve the sport's representation at the School as well as generating enthusiasm about playing and watching basketball. His favourite sporting memory is playing against and beating the staff team.
Matt plans on travelling in Israel next year, followed by a double degree in Law and Commerce.
His friends commented that he is an extremely studious and intelligent person who is also an incredibly supportive friend - always putting a smile on their face with his contagious laugh.
