Year started at Emanuel: 2007

Emanuel School allows you to be yourself and provides so many opportunities – you just have to take them.

Emanuel School has help Jared step outside his comfort zone. As Madrich of Rashi House, Jared developed his leadership and collaborative skills, and enjoyed working with younger students – all of which he feels has provided invaluable life experience.

Jared represented Emanuel in a range of sports and was selected for swimming at CDSSA, CIS and AICES, where he was recognised as swimming Age Champion five years in a row. He has received full AICES sport colours and represented Australia at the Maccabiah Games for swimming. It is fitting to say he would like to be remembered for his exceptional sporting achievements.

Jared believes Year 9 Ski Camp and Chavayah provided important opportunities to build resilience and independence. A driven sportsman, Jared challenges the status quo and strives to find new and different ways to approach problems. He hopes to travel in 2020 and subsequently pursue a career in the Health and Fitness industry. He would love to come back to Emanuel School and work as a sports coach.

Jared's peers admire his ability to see the positive in others. He is a driven and passionate role model for younger students interested in sport.
