Emanuel School has taught me never to be afraid of trying something new and that you don’t have to succeed at everything you do.

Josh feels that his teachers have always encouraged him to 'have a go' and that you don’t need to be the loudest person in the room to lead by example. He believes that Emanuel has offered him many diverse opportunities, allowing him to thrive and form his own identity. Josh will always remember the sense of community, support and guidance he has experienced over the years and looks forward to remaining involved at Emanuel School in the future.

Josh will cherish memories made throughout his school years including the Israel Chavayah program, participating in many school musical productions and being given the opportunity as Head Madrich to inspire change. Josh is a respectful and intelligent student who gives 100% percent in and out of the classroom. He genuinely enjoys learning and will be starting university in 2021. He aims to study hard and find ways to give back to the community.

Josh's friends describe him as an exceptional person who puts others first. "He is kind, sensitive, humble and is always willing to make sacrifices for others. Josh is strong in the face of adversity and works hard to overcome obstacles in his path, all the while ensuring he is able to support those he cares about."
