Summer Research

What is WMSURE?

William & Mary Scholars Undergraduate Research Experience (WMSURE) is a program dedicated to supporting undergraduate students in the pursuit of research opportunities. With the help of faculty mentors and year round workshops, WMSURE aims to promote success in academia and undergraduate research, as well as provide students with a diverse support network during their academic careers.

DA@W&M is excited to be partnering with the WMSURE program while Prof. Cochrane is a WMSURE Fellow in the summers of 2022 and 2023!

More information on the W&M Scholars Undergraduate Research Experience can be found on their webpage.

What is the Charles Center Faculty-Mentored Research Incubator?

The Charles Center Incubator program is meant to support newer models of faculty-mentored student research. This extends to collaborative, team-led research methods, faculty aligned research methods, and research that has the potential for self sustenance in the future. Research supported by the Incubator Program strives to expand W&M's reach, educate for impact, and evolve to excel.

DA@W&M is thankful to the Charles Center for awarding Prof. Cochrane funding for the summers of 2022 and 2023!
