Interview Database

We have built an online language database that holds multiple years of real data for use by W&M students in linguistics courses, honor theses, independent projects, and other research projects. The database contains information from the Sociolinguistic Field Methods class as well as DA@W&M's research about participants, researchers, and interviews, and is searchable by each of these three components. A screenshot of the Participants layout is pictured below.

We constructed this database using the program FileMaker Pro. If you have any questions or want to access the data, you can contact at discourseanalysis@wm.edu! The database is accessible through a computer owned by DA@W&M in Tucker Room 20, our lab space.
