In the past I have expressed. myself through reflective realistic or surrealistic watercolor paintings. For this body of work I allowed myself to let go, experiment, and convey abstractly, land- and seascapes and their motions within. My knowledge as a retired ocean scientist greatly influenced my approach to these paintings. These works portray my impression of the essence of each of these dynamic locations.
