Week 6

This final week we hit the ground running. On monday we arranged, rehearsed, and recorded an unnamed track from start to finish. Then on tuesday, we nearly accomplished the same with another original, spare a few bass takes. Over the remainder of the week we split our time between editing and mixing the newly recorded originals, and finalizing takes for the remaining covers.

Additionally, we met with our outside mentor Mr. Potts on tuesday night to clear up some issues with exporting and using plugins.

By friday, we had everything recorded and mixed, but more problems had surfaced with using the editing software. Since there was no time to meet with Mr. Potts again, we decided to hold back on releasing the project and wait until early next week so we could iron out any final issues with care. Although dissapointed, we figured it would be better to have patience and release a product that we were all proud of, as opposed to rushing out an album that we weren't happy with.
