With AP exams, we were able to do a little bit of recording on Monday and Tuesday but we needed some help with troubleshooting program and mixing issues that kept coming up. Our outside mentor was able to help us Tuesday night to get better levels on the drums and fix some sound issues we were running into, as well as give us a nice confidence booster on what we have so far.
IMG_5607.MOVHarmony time!! We are excited to be able to put songs together and get them closer to completion! We finished an original called "No Map" and put the finishing touches on it on Wednesday. This is a sneak peak of the harmonies we put together, and we are so happy with how it turned out!
Overall, this week was super productive. With a good handle on our recording sotware and all of our songs written, we are in a good spot to finish on time for next friday. We still have lots of recording to do, but we have better adjusted to working in the studio efficiently. We're all capable of capturing our own takes and working solo or in duos to make the most of our time and are hammering out each song one by one.
