Brass and Woodwind Auditions
Provide a video recording (MP4 format) performing on the instrument that you will play with the Band of Pride that includes the following:
Scales: 1 two octave chromatic scale on the note of your choice that allows you to play two octaves on your instrument;
Concert scales of A-flat, B-flat, F, and C, two octaves when possible (be sure to use these scales to demonstrate the part that best suits your range); and,
Be sure to begin the video (MP4) by stating your name and label the file with your last name.
Louisiana All-State members do not need to provide a video unless the instrument that you played in the All-State Band is different than the instrument you will play in the Band of Pride. For example, if you played bassoon in the All-State Band but will play tenor saxophone in the marching band, be sure to provide an audition video.

Why join the BOP?
The Band of Pride is an organization where the Tenets of Tech are made physical; especially "loyalty." I have quickly found new friends that will last a lifetime in this set of musicians we have at Tech.
