Join the Band of Pride on Saturday, August 30, 2025, on the campus of Louisiana Tech for a special halftime performance. The event is free for all participants in uniform, and family will be offered a special ticket price for the game (see link below).

Entire bands as well as individuals are encouraged to join the band for the day. 

PARKING: All personal vehicles will park in the Tech Drive Lot located to the South of the stadium. Buses my enter Stadium circle ONLY from Alabama (on South side), drive around stadium to drop-off at near the North endzone.

Schedule of Events

9:30 AM      Plan to arrive in the parking lot on the corner of Alabama and Tech Drive (see map). Look for the U-Haul truck and blue registration tent.

PARKING: All personal vehicles will park in this lot for the duration of practice only.  Please contact Dr. Heidenreich if any bus transportation will be involved.

NOTE: THERE IS NO PARKING OR VEHCILE ACCESS NEAR THE STADIUM ON GAMEDAYS.

9:45 AM      Truck departs with large equipment and begin walk to the stadium. All Band Day participants will be escorted by members of the Band of Pride. Parents and guardians may walk into practice with their participant

10 AM         Assemble inside Joe Aillet Stadium, 1450 W. Alabama, Ruston, LA.

11:00 PM    Completion of Band Day rehearsal

Lunch on your own

11:30-12:30 PM      OPTIONAL: Twirlers follow-up rehearsal in Lambright     

Recommended activities: Campus tour (must be arranged in advance), Lambright Rec Center (large groups, please contact me in advance of what time you might want to utilize the Rec, closes 4:00 PM)

1:30 PM      OPTIONAL: Color Guard follow-up rehearsal

3:30 PM      Meet at on the West side of Lambright

PARKING: Personal vehicles may park for free in the Lambright Rec Center lot across from the Stadium or at Ruston High School

3:45 PM      Escorts will take participants from Lambright to Argent for the Bulldog Walk

4:15 PM      Bulldog Walk in Bulldog Village (optional) located north of the stadium

4:25 PM      Pep Rally in front of Argent Pavilion (optional)

4:45 PM      Tailgating in Stadium parking lot (must have purchased pass to tailgate in this area) (optional)

5:45 PM      Report to Southeast corner OUTSIDE the Stadium

6:00 PM      March to the Stadium, all participants must march into the stadium with the Band of Pride

All parents/guardians must purchase a ticket in advance to sit with their participant.

6:30 PM      Kick-off

7:45 PM      Approx. time of halftime performance

Tickets

All participants will be admitted for free; however, participants must follow the band into the Stadium and report for lining up at 5:45 PM on the East side of Joe Aillet Stadium (see map).

Seating will be on the east side (visiting near the band); however, there is NO exit and re-entrance on the west side to view the halftime show from the front.
