MUEN 273/473 Symphonic Wind Ensemble

MWF 4:00-5:15 PM
The SYMPHONIC WIND ENSEMBLE is Louisiana Tech University's auditioned wind band and performs concerts in the winter and spring quarters. Membership in the Symphonic Wind Ensemble is open to all Louisiana Tech University students, regardless of major, by audition. Auditions for the SWE will occur during the month of October.
Members of the Symphonic Wind Ensemble are eligible to receive a financial service award for their participation in the ensemble throughout the winter and spring quarters.
Symphonic Wind Ensemble Audition Instructions
All auditions will be held in the Band Building (auditions will be held in either the BB 108 (Small Ensemble Room) or BB 203 (upstairs classroom).
Auditions will be blind, or in other words the auditors will not know who is performing. Be sure to enter the room without speaking. Instructions will be given on what and when to play by the auditors. WAIT for their indication to play.

Use the “SWE Tryout Times” form to choose a time for your audition available in the same Google folder as the audition music.
DO NOT USE YOUR NAME FOR THE FORM BUT YOUR CAMPUS WIDE ID (CWID).
