2.0 Credits: Full Year High Weighted Course
Prerequisite: Algebra 2 w/ Trig or Algebra 2 w/ Trig Honors

This course fills two (2) credits towards the six (6) Math credits required for graduation.
First semester examines linear, quadratic, polynomial, and trigonometric functions and their graphs, domain and range, theory of equations, imaginary and complex numbers, exponential and logarithmic phenomena, and analytic geometry. Second semester is devoted to trigonometric identities, polar coordinates, complex numbers, vectors and determinants, sequences and series, matrices, probability and statistics. Throughout the course there is an emphasis on applications and the use of technology. A graphing calculator is required (TI preferred).
