2.0 Credits: Full Year Course
Prerequisite: Algebra 2 w/ Trig or Algebra 2 w/ Trig Honors

This course fills two (2) credits towards the six (6) Math credits required for graduation.
The first semester examines rate of change, concavity, functions, asymptotes and limits, continuous exponential growth, natural logarithms, regression models for exponential and power functions, and transformations and symmetry. The second semester is devoted to trigonometric identities, polar coordinates, vectors, and sequences and series. Throughout the course there is an emphasis on applications and the use of technology. A graphing calculator is required (TI preferred).
