ABOUT
ABOUT
MARA VECTRA, is an integrated technology carnival that now incorporates elements from both RoboChallenge and Digital TechNova. This initiative is designed to encourage and create awareness around one of the fastest-growing career fields: computing and robotics.
Computing and robotics are at the cornerstone of most STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields. As industries evolve, more career paths require students not only to develop computational thinking skills but also to understand automation, artificial intelligence, and robotic systems.
This carnival aims to spark excitement among MRSM students by providing hands-on exposure to computational thinking, coding, and robotic innovation. By blending digital technology and robotics, MARA VECTRA creates a dynamic platform for students to explore, compete, and innovate—equipping them with essential future-ready skills that can be cultivated throughout their lives.
OBJECTIVE
To develop computational thinking and robotic problem-solving skills, and translate them into designing, building, and creating innovative digital and robotic applications.
To strengthen problem-solving skills through quizzes and robotics-based challenges that incorporate Higher-Order Thinking Skills (KBAT) and Cross-Curricular Elements (EMK).
To stimulate and cultivate fun learning in computing and robotics, while providing clearer career pathways aligned with students’ interests in emerging technologies.
To develop students’ talents and potential in both digital technology and robotics, enabling them to thrive in a rapidly evolving technological world.
To provide a platform for exposition, learning, and exploration of current and emerging technologies, including robotics, in line with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
