Students are tasked with creating a digital comics that effectively combine illustrations, narrative, and dialogue (Bahasa Melayu or English).
To enhance students’ creativity in visual storytelling
To develop digital literacy and technological skills .
To promote critical thinking and idea development .
To cultivate innovation and confidence in creative expression
Comic Specification:
Comic length must be between 6 to 12 panels only. Must adhere to the mandatory theme: Cultural Heritage: Historical Architecture . The storyline must convey a positive and educational message.
AI Image Generation
Every panel must use AI images (Gemini, MS Copilot, etc.).
Prohibition: A full one-panel artwork generated entirely from a single AI prompt is not allowed. Panels must be compiled (using Canva etc). Plagiarism or copying others’ work.
Proof of Authenticity (Prompt):
Participants must include the command ('prompt') used for each generated panel in an attachment format.

B. THEME
The poster must interpret the theme
“Innovating Heritage, Building the Future”
means using modern knowledge — especially in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) — to preserve, appreciate, and reimagine our cultural heritage.
Heritage: Refers to traditions, culture, art, old technologies, and values passed down from previous generations. Examples include traditional architecture, crafts, music, or farming methods.
Innovating: Means not only keeping heritage alive but also combining it with new ideas, modern technology, and creativity to make it relevant today.
Building the Future: By blending heritage with innovation, we can create a brighter future that is advanced yet still rooted in our identity and culture.

C. RULES AND REGULATIONS
Poster Requirement
The poster must interpret the theme “Innovating Heritage, Building the Future”.
The competition theme (“Innovating Heritage, Building the future”) must appear in the design.
Use AI-generated elements within the poster. This could include AI-generated images, graphics, text, or other multimedia elements. Participants must use at least one AI-generated element (e.g., AI-created imagery, text, patterns, etc.).
The poster should be original and created solely by the participant.
The poster must be easy to read and understand. The placement of text and graphics should prioritize visual balance.
The poster must include the MRSM Logo .These logos must be placed in a professional, clear, and visible location on the poster.
All elements of the design must be original or used with appropriate permissions.
Poster Technical Specification
The poster must use the dimensions: 1080 x 1920 pixels (portrait orientation).
Ensure the image is in high resolution (300 DPI recommended) for clarity and professional presentation.
Submissions must be in JPEG or PNG format only.
The file size must not exceed 10 MB
Submission
Participants must submit their entries by the competition deadline.
Submissions should be made through the drive provided by MRSM BENTONG
All submissions must be the original work of the participant and must not have been previously submitted to other competitions. Entries that contain plagiarized content or unauthorized use of copyrighted materials will be disqualified.
Include a brief explanation on how AI technology was used in the design process of the poster, such as AI tools or software used to generate graphics, text, or certain visual effects.
Copyright
All elements of the design must be original or used with appropriate permissions.
By submitting the poster, the participant grants the competition organizer the right to display, share, and promote the work, with proper credit to the creator. This may include exhibition, online publications, or promotional materials.
