STOP MOTION ANIMATION
[OPEN CATEGORY]

A. PARTICIPANT

1. A group of (2) student which can combine from any form except form 5.

2. Only 2 student are going for physical competition in MRSM Bentong

B. THEME

1. “Historical Magical Character: Power & Identity” 

2. “Create a unique character and showcase its special abilities and journey in overcoming challenges.” 

3. "This story beautifully blends the treasures of Historical culture, heritage, and folklore with the wonders of Magical Character : power & Identify." 

C. RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. The animation MUST be an original idea or improvement of the existing project that NEVER competed before.

2. Participants must follow the given theme.

3. Participants can use either English or Malay Language (Use full English or Malay, cannot mix the language).

4. Participants will do the recording and editing within 4 hours.

5. Participants can try to create the animation before the competition BUT have to delete everything from the device on the competition day.

6. Participants can bring printed materials and props (eg: molded clay) for the competition. 

7. The animation MUST BE within 1-2 minutes in .MP4 format

8. Animation which exceed 2 minutes, will be DISQUALIFIED.

9. The animation MUST be save as:

   • SMUS MRSM NAME Student’s Name  College No

   • Eg : SMUS MRSM MUAR Sarimah binti Lazim AA190100 Fatihah binti Zakaria AA201123

D. PARTICIPANTS NEED TO:

• WATCH

1. Provided tutorial

2. Learn from the video.

• CREATE

1. Stop motion animation based on the theme selected.

2. The details of the animation should include the following:

• Main actor/ subject

• Environment

• Transition

• Subtitle
  
  

# VIDEO MUST NOT EXCEED 2 MINUTES IN .MP4 FORMAT.

   • iPad/Tablet

   • Laptop
