Rules & Regulations

A. PARTICIPANT

1. Eligibility : Students whom are the participants of Digital Technova Arena 2025.

2. Team Composition : Each team must consist of five (5) members, with a mandatory mix of both male and female participants. A team must include at least one (1) member of each gender to be eligible. For example, acceptable combinations include 

   • 4 males and 1 female (or vice versa) or,

   • 3 males and 2 females (or vice versa)

Only 1 substitutes are allowed. 

3. Team Limit : Each MRSM are allowed to submit one (1) team only.

4. Code of Conduct : All players must exhibit sportsmanship, respect others, and avoid toxic behavior (verbal abuse, cheating, etc.)

B. RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Match Format 

• Game Mode : Custom Game – Draft Pick mode

• Map : Classic 5v5 – "The Celestial Palace"

• Series Format :

  • Group Stage : Best of 1 (Bo1)

  • Quarterfinals/Semis/Finals : Best of 3 (Bo3)

2. Game Rules

• No Emulators : Only mobile devices are allowed (unless stated otherwise).

• Substitution Rules : Substitutes must be announced before the match starts.

• Pause Limit : Each team is allowed 2 pauses per match (only 2 minutes each) for technical issues.

• Disconnection : If a player disconnects, the game continues unless there's a server-wide issue.

• Drafting : No hero bans outside of the in-game banning system. Teams should not force bug exploits.

3. Disqualification Criteria

• Using cheats or hacks. 

• Failure to appear on time (usually 10–15 minutes grace period).

• Unsportsmanlike behavior (trash talk, AFK, feeding on purpose).
