Abbey Freeman Bolden

Abbey is a 2004 graduate. She earned four varsity letters in basketball and three in volleyball. 

Abbey was named all-conference three times and first team all-county as a senior in volleyball. 

In basketball, Abbey was a member of the 2001 sectional championship team. She was named both all-conference and all-county three times. Abbey is second in career three pointers made in school history. Abbey participated in the Indiana North-South All-Star Game as a senior and was named to Hoosier Basketball Magazine’s Top 100 Showcase. 

Abbey attended Indiana University-South Bend, where she played basketball for four years on scholarship. Abbey currently stands sixth in single season and career three pointers made in IU-SB history. She was named to the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference first team in 2007. 

Today, Abbey is a registered nurse at Hancock Regional Hospital. She will be graduating next December from Indiana Wesleyan University as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Abbey and her college sweetheart, Will reside in Greenfield with their 7 year-old son, Carter, and 3 year-old daughter, Vivian.
