Student Sports Passes Donated in Memory of Kathi Riggs

We are honored to announce that all student sports passes for the upcoming school year are being fully funded through a generous donation from the Kathi Riggs Memorial Fund.

 Kathi Riggs was a proud Eastern Hancock alumni, a former employee, and above all, a devoted supporter of Eastern Hancock athletics. Whether cheering in the stands or working behind the scenes, Kathi’s love for the Royals ran deep.  She was especially passionate about encouraging students to attend and participate in sporting events—not just to support their teams, but to be part of something bigger. She believed in the power of school spirit and the strong sense of community that comes from showing up for one another.

 In her memory, and in celebration of her legacy, her family has made it possible for every Eastern Hancock student to receive a sports pass free of charge this year. EH students simply need to show their school ID for entrance into all home athletic events. The only exception would be IHSAA tournament competitions. This generous gift reflects Kathi’s enduring commitment to her school and her belief in the importance of student involvement.
