Paul (Butch) Holliday

Butch was a 1958 graduate of Charlottesville High School.  He earned four varsity letters in baseball, basketball, and track.  In baseball, Butch was named all-conference as a junior and senior and helped lead the team to a conference championship as a senior.  In basketball, Butch was known as an outstanding shooter.  He was a four year starting guard who was named all-conference and all-sectional as a junior and senior, and sectional MVP as a senior.  Butch helped lead the Eagles to the 1957 Hancock County Championship and the 1958 Sectional Championship.  After graduation, Butch worked for Eli Lilly for over 35 years.  He and his wife, Marilou have a son and daughter and lived in the Eastern Hancock school district most of their lives.
