Richard O'Neal

Richard O’Neal is a 1976 Eastern Hancock graduate. Richard was a varsity letter winner is basketball, baseball, and tennis. He was named All-County and All-Conference in basketball in 1975 and 1976. Richard was a starter on both the 1974 New Castle sectional championship team in basketball and the 1976 Greenfield sectional championship baseball team, the only baseball sectional champion in school history. Richard scored over 1,100 points in his varsity basketball career and held the school record for free throw percentage until 1989. He was a solid rebounder, scoring many of his points on offensive rebounds. Richard is a farmer in the Wilkinson area.
