Health Office Policy

We are here to assist your student with short-term health and medical issues while at school.  The health office is designed strictly as a support service to help your student get their medical need met and then return to class, without having to disturb parents for routine needs (i.e., band aids, feminine products, temperature checks, etc.).  We do not keep medications on hand unless it has been prescribed by a doctor, appropriate paperwork has been filled out by the doctor, and  the paperwork has been given to the health office.  You can print the authorization form here:  Medication Assistance Authorization Form 

We are not allowed to keep your student out of their classes for more than 10 minutes.  In the event your student is in need of additional support, a parent/guardian phone call will be made to determine if your student needs to be picked up or if you are requesting the student return to class.  If you choose to pick your student up, they may remain in the Health Office until you arrive. Please bring your ID when picking up your student.
