Summer 2
This half term we will be learning all about Rayleigh! We are very excited to learn some more about the place where we come to school and have already asked some brilliant questions about the topic. To inspire our learning we took a trip to Rayleigh library to have an introduction to the topic. We listened really nicely and looked at some historical pictures of landmarks in Rayleigh.
Athletics
This half term we have been enjoying our PE lessons on the school field working as a whole year group. We have been learning key skills related to athletics like sprinting, long jumping and distance throwing.Â

We also had a go at using some chalk to draw our pictures once we were back at school!
Macmillan Coffee Day!
We loved coming for tea and cake to fundraise for Macmillan today. We enjoyed lots of yummy treats and some children and their families even donated cakes to be sold at auction. Thank you to the PA for organising this event and to everyone that donated.
Google Earth
Today we used Google Earth to find famous landmarks from all continents. We also worked hard to identify if these landmarks were physical or human geographical features.
Y6 Apprentice Day!
We had loads of fun visiting the Year 6 children and trying out all of their activities on their apprentice day! We won lots of prizes and ate some yummy treats.
