The study of Japanese enables students to communicate with others in Japanese, and to reflect on and understand the nature and role of language and culture in their own lives and the lives of others. Students will participate in communicative tasks in authentic contexts, as well as engage with a range of written and spoken texts in order to refine their ability to understand and communicate in Japanese.
