The aim of the Design and Technology Years 7–10 Syllabus is to engage students in technological innovation and the world of design while exploring the impact on individuals, society and environments.
Design and Technology is delivered through at least three context areas, completing between four and eight units of work that integrate core content with project work in the creation and documentation of designed solutions.
Context Areas: Digital Technologies, Engineered Systems, Food Technologies, Information and Communication Technologies and Material Technologies.
