What is the 10 week Challenge?
The 10 week Challenge is the flagship program of the NSW Premier's Sporting Challenge. During the Challenge, staff and students record and track their physical activity over a 10-week period as they aim to be more active more often.
The Challenge period commences any time from the start of Term 2 but must conclude by the last week of Term 3 to allow for award certificates to be printed and distributed to schools.
Award levels for the 10 week Challenge reflect the daily activity time commitment - as part of a class, a team or as an individual. All types of moderate to vigorous physical activities can count toward an award. Activities may include time spent in a broad range of sports and recreational pursuits during lunchtime, in school sports programs, class time, before or after school, and on weekends.
Bronze - 30 minutes of physical activity per day
Silver - 45 minutes of physical activity per day
Gold - 60 minutes of physical activity per day
Diamond - 80 minutes of physical activity per day
Challenge participants can use the 10wC activity tracker web app or 10wC logbooks to record their daily/weekly physical activity.

Physical activity challenges
Are you looking for engaging activities for students who complete their learning tasks before their peers? The physical activity challenges on this page can be shared with students to complete independently - all that is required is a device for the student and a small space.
How can participants track and log their activity?
Schools/students have the option to choose how they wish to record their physical activity. We have created printable and digital/editable logbooks and wall charts, and there is also the 10wC activity tracker web app which is available to all users (except K-2). Schools can choose how they wish to run their Challenge and how their students may access these resources.
