Look at your results and see if you can write down what they tell you about your household's waste.
Record three things you have learnt about your household's waste from looking at your results.
Now think about an area of waste in your household that could be reduced, exchanged for a reusable item or correctly sorted to reduce the waste your household sends to landfill. Choose one area that you will focus on for your action plan.
An action plan is a way that you can take a problem and come up with a way to solve that problem.
Have a look at the PDF document below. Answer all of the questions to help you create the action plan.

Now it is time to take action!
Firstly, chat to an adult at your place and run your ideas through with them. Be willing to be flexible with your plan so it fits in with the rest of your household.
Now it is time to let everyone in your household know what your action plan involves. Have a meeting with everyone and hopefully they will all agree to get on board and help you out! Make sure everyone is clear about what you are trying to do and why.
Begin implementing your plan. Support and help other members of the household by gently reminding them, or place signs up to help people remember what to do.
Good luck!
Well done! You have taken action on reducing waste that ends up in landfill at your place. Amazing effort!
Can you report on any changes, big or small, that have taken place at your place since you began this project?
