Bathroom focus

In order to find out how much plastic you use in your bathroom/s you will need to run a 'bathroom plastic audit'.

This is quite easy to do. All you need to do is look around your bathroom for anything that is in a plastic container. You will need to look in the cupboards, in the shower and around the sink. Things like liquid soap and shampoo are good examples.

Fill out the data sheet below to record all the items you can find in your bathroom.

Have a look at your list and think about which items on that list you could swap for a non-plastic option.

Some options to think about are:

• bamboo toothbrushes

• shampoo and conditioner bars

• soap bars (instead of liquid soap)

• home made products
