Have a think about the question - What do you think your family's biggest problem with waste is?
Then have a look at the answers your household members gave to the interview questions.
Does everyone in your household agree that waste is a problem worth solving or do some members disagree?
Is there one other person in your house who you think would be happy to help you reduce the waste going to landfill?
Do members of your household have some ideas about how they think you could reduce the waste ending up in landfill?
All of these questions will help you decide what to do next.
You need to choose ONE waste area to focus on at your house. I've got a few examples here - but you may come up with something different for your place.
Examples:
1. Our landfill bin - what are we sending to landfill from our house?
2. Our recycling bin - what are sending to recycling from our house?
3. Organic waste - are we collecting our organic waste for FOGO or composting at home?
4. Return and Earn - can we make money from collecting bottles and cans?
5. Bathroom focus - how much plastic do we use in our bathroom?
6. Kitchen focus - how much plastic do we use in our kitchen?
Once you have chosen ONE waste area to focus on you can click on the relevant heading above and complete an audit or investigation about that area.
