At Bayanami Public School, there are a number of ways that classes are taught. Some classes have an individual teacher and other classes are taught in a ‘co-teaching’ environment. In Kindergarten, all classes are taught by an individual teacher.
Co-teaching involves two teachers working together in the learning space in all aspects of teaching and learning - planning, teaching, and assessing the progress of every child in our learning space.
Each teacher is equally responsible and accountable for teaching and learning every student in their class and make it their priority to know every child and their learning needs.
If your child is in a co-teaching space, always feel free to communicate with either or both of the class teachers.
