Our Learning Spaces
At Bayanami Public School, our learning spaces are flexible in design, attractive and stimulating. They are designed to support teaching and learning to ensure that our students achieve their best every day and develop the skills and knowledge that they will need to be successful adults in the world around them.
Bayanami's innovative learning spaces are varied and aim to provide our students with a choice in where and how they learn. They aim to support and promote collaboration and positive relationships as well as incorporate opportunities for the inclusion of technology where appropriate.
Students can move around, work at tables, on the floor, at standing desks, in small or large groups or on their own. Through these experiences, students develop independence, collaboration skills, creativity, critical thinking and an understanding of themselves as learners. Our students are given the opportunity to explore areas of learning they are curious about in a physical environment that can support a variety of approaches.
At Bayanami Public School, students are given the opportunity to learn in both indoor and outdoor learning spaces to take full advantage of the large number of appealing, authentic environments in our school. This multi-faceted approach to our learning environments makes for a dynamic, exciting and supportive learning journey for our Bayanami students.
