GPHS University PARTNERSHIPS
GPHS students have the opportunity to participate in campus tours and engagement activities with a variety of universities over the course of their schooling. In particular, we have partnership programs with both Western Sydney University (WSU), and the University of New South Wales (UNSW). These programs give our students the opportunity to experience university while still at GPHS, and they are encouraged to continue their education beyond Y12 into tertiary study.
WSU's Fast Forward Program aims to increase the awareness of post-school educational opportunities, the benefits of lifelong learning, and the career paths tertiary education can lead to. Fast Forward is available to students from Y9 - Y12. GPHS is a member of the UNSW Gateway Schools Program. The program is open to students in Y10 - Y12 and it assists our students to discover UNSW degree options, explore future career opportunities, and access additional resources for the HSC. Participating in the Gateway program also provides critical support to receive an early offer to UNSW through the Gateway Admission Pathway.
