Mentors

Each identified Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student at Dapto High School will be partnered up with a teacher Mentor.  Each mentor has the responsibility to check in with their student, support them provide guidance, motivation, emotional support, and role modeling. A mentor may help with exploring careers, setting goals, developing contacts, and identifying resources. Once a year a PLP (personal learning plan will be completed with their chosen mentor.
