Local AECG

For staff who are not aware, the DoE have a partnership agreement with the AECG (www.aecg.nsw.edu.au/about/partnership-agreement/) to ensure we are providing the best opportunities and outcomes for our young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

I would encourage you all to consider joining our local AECG; named Juborsay.

Participation in monthly AECG meeting held at various school in the Juborsay catchment (Lake Illawarra South area. All dates published on Karrara Calendar in Sentral and -spoiler alert- upcoming Karrara website) as well as a passion for Aboriginal Education is expected.

See attached Membership form (to be emailed to aecgwollongong@gmail.com) and bank details for $2 annual membership fee. FYI, all non-Aboriginal members are ‘associate members’.
