After a gruelling application process, Isaac was selected to represent Australia as a Delegate for UN Youth's Young Diplomats Tour on a 27-day journey across 7 European countries during the end of year holidays . Isaac was one of only 16 young people across the nation in the immersive program, with the primary aim of exploring the evolution of diplomacy, through countries that have played a key role to the making of modern democracy, and shaping international relations as we know it.
Isaac reflects very fondly on this trip, in order of stops, taking him from Krakow, Berlin, The Netherlands, Brussels, Paris, Belfast, and London. He states "this trip was truly eye opening, to ruminate on the layers of history, and culture that shape the world we live in is an amazing experience. I am absolutely indebted to the 4 Facilitators who travelled alongside us, and eternally grateful for the 15 other delegates I travelled alongside, who I can all safely say are now great friends". Isaac encourages anyone considering applying for this world wind trip, or any UN Youth event, to put their hand up, because they certainly won't regret it!"
